BITS Pilani — Hyderabad Campus, established in 2008 and located in Jawahar Nagar, Shameerpet Mandal (about 25 km from Hyderabad city), is the newest of the four BITS Pilani campuses and has rapidly established itself as one of the most sought-after engineering destinations in South India. Part of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani — a fully autonomous deemed university with a 60-year pedigree — the Hyderabad campus inherits the hallmark BITS pedagogy: self-paced learning, dual-degree flexibility, and the legendary Practice School (PS) internship system. BITSAT, BITS's own computer-based entrance test, determines admission — a score of 300+ out of 390 is typically required for CSE. With approximately 5,000+ students across B.E., M.Sc.
