All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raipur (AIIMS Raipur) is a premier public medical institution established in 2012 under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) scheme of the Government of India. One of the six new AIIMS established by the central government, AIIMS Raipur serves the medical education, research, and healthcare needs of Chhattisgarh and the broader central India region.

AIIMS Raipur offers the prestigious MBBS degree with an intake of 100 students per year, selected through the NEET-UG examination. The institute also offers B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc (Paramedicine), postgraduate MD/MS programmes across 42 specialities and super-specialities, and Ph.D programmes in Basic Medical Sciences. The PG and super-specialty programmes cover all major medical disciplines including Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics, Radiology, Anaesthesiology, and emerging areas such as Palliative Care and Community Medicine.

The hospital attached to AIIMS Raipur is a referral hospital with over 960 beds, providing tertiary and quaternary healthcare services to patients from across Chhattisgarh and neighbouring states of Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Jharkhand.
