James Gunn is an American filmmaker who wrote and directed all three Guardians of the Galaxy films. GotG Vol. 3 (2023) was his final MCU film before moving to DC Studios as Co-CEO. It received universal critical acclaim and emotional fan response as a perfect send-off to the franchise.
