International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), established in 1998 as India's first not-for-profit public-private-partnership deemed university, is one of India's most research-intensive computer science institutions. Located on a 66-acre campus in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, IIIT-H's 2,000+ students study across the BTech (CSE, ECE, CSD, CND), Dual Degree (Honours), MTech, MS by Research, and PhD programmes. The institute's research centres in NLP, computer vision, robotics, and computer graphics are internationally recognised, and its alumni populate Silicon Valley (Amazon, Microsoft, Google) as well as Indian startups. IIIT-H's incubation programme has produced multiple funded startups and it plays a key role in shaping the "IIIT" template that inspired later IIITs across India.
