TISSNET (TISS National Entrance Test) is conducted by NTA in January each year. It tests English language, mathematics and logical reasoning, and general awareness (including social sciences and current affairs). TISSNET score is used for shortlisting for MA programmes across all TISS campuses. The exam is 100 marks / 100 minutes. For popular programmes like HRM&LR Mumbai, the shortlist cutoff is typically 50-55+ out of 100. Shortlisted candidates then appear for a Personal Interview at the TISS campus.
