David Rudisha is a Kenyan middle-distance runner and the greatest 800m runner in history. At the 2012 London Olympics, he broke the world record — running 1:40.91 — in a race where every finalist ran a personal best, widely described as the greatest 800m race ever run. He won back-to-back Olympic gold medals (2012, 2016) and is a two-time World Champion. A Maasai warrior and an ambassador for environmental conservation in Kenya.
