About Me
Nepathya is Nepal's most beloved and enduring folk-rock band, founded in 1990 by Amrit Gurung. The band pioneered a unique fusion of traditional Nepali folk music with rock instrumentation, creating an entirely new genre that has influenced a generation of Nepali musicians. Songs like Resham, Bhedai Bhedai, and Bholi Hajur have become cultural anthems.
