Rekles (Enock Wanjohi) is one of Kenya's most gifted rappers and a core member of the Ethic Entertainment collective that helped popularise gengetone — a subgenre of Afropop that blends Sheng slang, dancehall, and digital beats into a distinctly Nairobi sound. His witty wordplay, street storytelling, and prolific output have earned him a massive youth following in Kenya and among the East African diaspora.
