Nintendo India's community-building campaign for the Nintendo Switch, targeting India's 420 million internet-connected gaming audience. The campaign produced 18 gaming creator partnerships across YouTube, Instagram, and Twitch, featuring games including The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Wonder, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Eight community gaming events were hosted at WeWork and co-working spaces in four cities, drawing 12,000 attendees across the campaign. Creators were briefed to focus on social gaming (multiplayer, family play) rather than competitive gaming, aligning with Nintendo's "gaming for everyone" positioning. The campaign achieved a 340% increase in Nintendo Switch eShop registrations from India and established the @NintendoIndia Instagram account with 240,000 followers from zero within the campaign window.
