EaseOfBiz (“we”, “our”, “the platform”) operates a professional identity and creator commerce platform at easeofbiz.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our services, and your rights under applicable data protection laws including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.
By creating an account or using any EaseOfBiz service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use of the platform and contact us to request data deletion.
Data We Collect
We collect only what we need to provide you a safe and functional platform experience.
Account & Profile Information

- ▸Professional bio, portfolio links, social media handles, and work history (creator profile data)
- ▸Phone number (optional; used for WhatsApp-linked notifications where enabled)
Usage & Technical Data
- ▸IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and operating system
- ▸Pages visited, features used, and session duration (via server-side analytics)
- ▸Cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions and measure performance
Transactional Data
- ▸Order history, credit purchases, and plan subscription records
- ▸Bank account or UPI details provided for creator payout processing (encrypted; not stored on EaseOfBiz servers)
How We Use Your Data
We process your data to operate, improve, and protect the platform.

- ▸Process plan subscriptions, credit purchases, and creator payouts
- ▸Send transactional emails — account confirmations, payment receipts, and security alerts
- ▸Enforce our Terms of Service and Code of Conduct; detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- ▸Analyse platform performance and improve our features (aggregated, anonymised data only)
- ▸Comply with legal obligations under applicable Indian and international law
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to train or fine-tune third-party AI/ML models.
Payments & Payouts
All payment processing on EaseOfBiz is handled by licensed, RBI-regulated payment gateways.
- ▸EaseOfBiz uses Cashfree Payments (primary) and PhonePe Payment Gateway (secondary) for all transactions
- ▸Card numbers, CVVs, and UPI PINs are never transmitted to or stored on EaseOfBiz servers — all sensitive payment data is handled exclusively by the payment gateway
- ▸Creator payouts are processed to your registered bank account or UPI ID; payout data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- ▸Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit · AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest · Cloudflare DDoS protection and WAF · AWS-hosted infrastructure in Indian data centers · Regular penetration testing and security audits · Bcrypt-hashed passwords with salting · Two-factor authentication available for all accounts

Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable regulations, you have the following rights over your personal data.
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Update inaccurate or incomplete personal data on your profile.
Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Object to processing of your data for non-essential purposes.
Receive your data in a machine-readable format upon request.
Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
