Yes. Your @handle and public profile are free forever — no credit card, no expiry, no catch. This is the founding promise of EaseOfBiz. Commerce features (bookings, downloads, events) work on a 10% commission on transactions — you only pay when you earn.

Most creator platforms charge a monthly subscription with zero commission. EaseOfBiz is free with a 10% commission on transactions — you only pay when you earn. More importantly, subscription platforms give you a subdirectory on their domain. EaseOfBiz gives you a permanent @handle identity that belongs to you. When someone searches your name, your EaseOfBiz profile ranks. That’s the difference between renting and owning.

How do I get my first booking?
Three things work fastest: (1) Put your @handle URL in your Instagram bio — your existing audience is your warmest market. (2) Add at least one session type with a clear price — vague “contact me” profiles get skipped. (3) Set your availability so buyers see real open slots, not a generic form. Most creators get their first booking within a week of doing all three.
Can I offer free content to grow my audience?
Yes. Digital products can be set to free — the buyer enters their email and gets the download link. This builds your follower list on EaseOfBiz, which you can then broadcast to when you launch paid products. Free → followers → broadcast → paid product is the fastest organic funnel on the platform.
How does the broadcast email work?
Followers who register on EaseOfBiz can receive emails from you. In Studio → Broadcasts, you write a subject and message, preview it, and hit send. It goes to all your real followers (registered users, not anonymous visitors) within a few minutes. You can send one broadcast every 24 hours. Every email has an unsubscribe link — followers can opt out of your emails without unfollowing you.
What file types can I sell as digital products?
PDF, MP4, MP3, ZIP, and DOCX — up to 200MB per file. Files are stored on Cloudflare R2 and delivered via a secure time-limited download link (valid 48 hours, 3 downloads per purchase). Buyers can’t share the link indefinitely.
How do offline event check-ins work?
Every attendee gets an email with a unique QR code after purchase. At the venue, open Studio → Events → Check-in Console on your phone. You can scan QR codes or search by name/email and tap “Mark present.” The console shows real-time attendance count vs capacity.
Payments & Commission
How does the 10% commission work?
EaseOfBiz takes 10% of every paid transaction — bookings, digital product sales, and event tickets. Founding Members pay 5%. The commission is deducted automatically at the point of payment — you receive the balance directly to your account. No monthly fees, no setup costs, no charge if there are no transactions.
What payment methods do buyers use?
India: UPI, PhonePe, Cashfree, and all major debit/credit cards. International: PayPal and card. Buyers pay at checkout — you don’t need to chase invoices or follow up for payment.
How and when do I receive my earnings?
Earnings are settled via your vendor dashboard. Standard settlement follows the payment gateway’s schedule — typically T+2 for domestic transactions. You’ll need to complete your KYC in the vendor dashboard before your first payout. Go to Vendor Dashboard → Payments to set up your bank details.
What is the Founding Member plan?
A one-time ₹199 payment that locks in a 5% commission rate permanently — half the standard rate — plus a Founding Member badge on your profile. This is a commitment signal, not a subscription. The price and terms are locked for life once you join.
Can buyers get a refund?
Refund policy is set per-transaction type. Digital products: no refund after download (file delivered immediately). Events: refundable up to 24 hours before the event. Bookings: refundable if the creator declines. In all cases, the platform commission is non-refundable as it covers payment processing costs.

How do brands find creators on EaseOfBiz?
Use the Discover page — filter by niche (130+ categories), city (200+ cities), and creator type. Every creator profile shows their portfolio, services, work history, and collaboration credits. You can follow creators you’re interested in to stay updated when they post new content or launch products.
My brand profile is already on EaseOfBiz — how do I claim it?
Find your profile on EaseOfBiz and click “Claim this profile.” You’ll be asked to verify ownership via your company domain email (e.g. [email protected]). Domain email verification is instant — the profile transfers to you immediately. If you use Gmail or a personal email, the claim goes for manual review (24–48 hours).
Can I book a creator directly from their profile?
Yes. If the creator has set up session types and availability, you’ll see a booking widget directly on their profile. Pick a session type, choose an available slot, answer their intake questions, and pay — the creator confirms and you both receive confirmation emails with the session details.
Is there a way to post a campaign brief for multiple creators?
Campaign brief tools are coming in Phase 6. Brands will be able to post a brief with budget, niche requirements, and timeline — and creators will apply directly. In the meantime, you can discover and book creators individually via the Discover page.

Can I change my @handle after claiming it?
Yes, once. You get one handle change from Studio → Identity. After that, it’s permanent. Choose carefully — your @handle becomes your professional address and changes break existing links, business cards, and social bio URLs.
Is my profile indexed by Google?
Yes. Every profile at easeofbiz.com/@handle is fully SEO-indexed with structured data (JSON-LD), OpenGraph tags, and a custom meta description. Google, Bing, and AI search tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) can all find and cite your profile. A complete profile with rich content ranks significantly better than a sparse one.
What happens to my profile if I stop using EaseOfBiz?
Your @handle and profile stay live. We don’t delete inactive profiles — your professional address is permanent. If you want to deactivate it, contact support and we’ll archive it while preserving the handle so it can’t be taken by someone else.
Is EaseOfBiz available outside India?
Yes — the platform is global. Creators from any country can claim a handle and build their profile. International payments go through PayPal and card. The platform is currently strongest in India but has creators across South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
How is my data protected?
All files are stored on Cloudflare R2 with private access — download links are time-limited and signed. Profile data is hosted on secured servers with daily backups. We don’t sell your data to advertisers. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
