Mistborn: Wax and Wayne Series

Mistborn Era 2 — the Wax and Wayne series — is set 300 years after Era 1 in a 1900s-equivalent industrialising Scadrial. Lawman Waxillium Ladrian and his sidekick Wayne use Allomancy and Feruchemy in a world of guns, trains, and political intrigue.

• Shadows of Self (2015): A kandra impersonates city officials; political unrest threatens to collapse Elendel.
• The Bands of Mourning (2016): Wax and Wayne seek the legendary Bands of Mourning — a mythical metalmind — in the Southern Scadrian wilderness.
• The Lost Metal (2022): The Set's plans to use Trell's power are fully revealed; Era 2 concludes.
