Glass Key Award, CWA Gold Dagger, Barry Award

About

The Millennium Series began as Stieg Larsson's posthumously published Scandinavian crime trilogy and continued by David Lagercrantz. The series centers on hacker and vigilante Lisbeth Salander and journalist Mikael Blomkvist of Millennium magazine, who together uncover vast networks of corruption, sexual violence, and state conspiracy.

  • The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2005): Blomkvist investigates a 40-year-old disappearance; Salander is revealed in full as a victim of systemic abuse turned predator.
  • The Girl Who Played with Fire (2006): Salander is framed for murder; her traumatic childhood is exposed.
  • The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest (2007): Salander faces a Section — a secret state conspiracy — in a courtroom climax.
  • Books 4-6 by David Lagercrantz: Continue Salander's story with new threats involving her twin Camilla and tech-world conspiracies.
