About
Nike's 2024 India Running Campaign activated the Nike Run Club app ecosystem across India's five largest metropolitan cities, building community-led running movements with authentic athlete stories at the centre. The campaign commissioned 35 running creators and sports photographers to document the stories of 150 amateur runners — from a Mumbai dabbawaala running his first half-marathon at 52, to a Delhi college student who used running to manage anxiety. Content was distributed across Nike India's social channels (18 million followers), the Nike Run Club app's community feed, and OOH placements across 320 billboards in five cities. The campaign drove a 67% increase in Nike Run Club app downloads in India and 240,000 new club members within three months. The hero film won a Gold Lion at Cannes Lions 2024 in the Brand Experience category.
