Dil Se.. (1998) is Mani Ratnam's visually stunning romantic thriller starring Shah Rukh Khan as a journalist who falls obsessively in love with a mysterious woman (Manisha Koirala) who turns out to be a suicide bomber. A.R. Rahman's soundtrack is considered one of his greatest — featuring the iconic Chaiyya Chaiyya (filmed on a moving train roof), Jiya Jale, and Satrangi Re. The Chaiyya Chaiyya sequence has become one of Bollywood's most recognisable images.
