Om Shanti Om (2007) is Farah Khan's blockbuster romantic fantasy starring Shah Rukh Khan and marking Deepika Padukone's Bollywood debut. Deepika plays dual roles — a 1970s actress Shanti and her modern reincarnation Sandy. The film was the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2007, launched Deepika as Bollywood's biggest new star, and features one of Bollywood's most iconic title songs.
