About

The 2014 ICC World Twenty20 was hosted in Bangladesh. Sri Lanka, led by Angelo Mathews and powered by Lasith Malinga's lethal yorker bowling, defeated India in the final at Dhaka on April 6, 2014. Malinga was Sri Lanka's leading wicket-taker in the tournament and one of the key architects of their championship. His slingy low-arm action and pinpoint yorkers under pressure made him the most feared T20 bowler in the world at this time.
