Sachin Tendulkar is the only cricketer in history to score 100 international centuries — 51 in Tests and 49 in ODIs — a record so far beyond anyone else it may never be challenged. He played for 24 years (1989-2013) and holds virtually every major batting record: most Test runs (15,921), most ODI runs (18,426), first cricketer to 10,000 ODI runs. He was named Player of the Tournament at the 2003 Cricket World Cup and won the 2011 World Cup with India. Widely considered the greatest batsman ever.
