Slumdog Millionaire (2008) is Danny Boyle's Academy Award-winning film about Jamal Malik, a boy from the Mumbai slums who appears on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. A.R. Rahman composed the Oscar-winning score and original song Jai Ho — earning him two Academy Awards, two Golden Globes, and a BAFTA in the same year. It remains the defining international moment of Rahman's career.
