The India market launch of the Toyota Innova HyCross — the third generation of India's most iconic MPV, now available with a self-charging strong hybrid drivetrain delivering 23.24 kmpl, the highest fuel efficiency of any petrol MPV in India. The launch campaign centred on the tagline "Hybrid. Heroic." and deployed 25 automotive creators for launch-day test drives across Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Chennai, and Bengaluru simultaneously. A cinematic launch film explored the Innova's 18-year legacy as the vehicle of choice for Indian families — school runs to highway adventures, business travel to religious pilgrimages. The film premiered at a gala event in Mumbai attended by 1,200 dealers and media representatives, and was broadcast to 1.1 million simultaneous YouTube live viewers. The Innova HyCross received 55,000 bookings within 30 days of the official launch, selling out the 2023 production allocation entirely.
